GetTestedBoston.org was designed to help men-who-have-sex-with-men (MSM) find up-to-date sexual health information as well as Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) funded free or low-cost testing and treatment services. The site was launched in conjunction with a multimedia campaign to address rising rates of primary and secondary syphilis in MSM. All of the organizations included on the site offer tests for STDs and HIV infection. The site also provides links to comparable services in neighboring states.
The initial website was designed and hosted in 2004 by The Medical Foundation. Since 2006, the site has been managed and hosted by The Fenway Institute at Fenway Community Health. This new iteration includes expanded sexual health information regarding many common STDs and HIV infection. For more information, contact info@gettestedboston.org. |
